The past few days have been filled with staging for our crossing back to the US. We have poured over weather, wind, and wave forecasts. We have analyzed the Gulf Stream and its effects on our passage. We have secured everything both inside and out on Dagny. I made several meals for easy access to food.

This morning we lifted the anchor for the last time in the Bahamas. Sailing here has truly been a dream come true. We treasure the friendships we’ve formed and the memories made. So long, Bahamas!

On to the next phase of this amazing voyage.
